The words above are not mine, however they are words I strive to live by. Often in life and in love we have tons of expectations and it can sometimes feel like no one is listening to what we truly want. I believe, we should ask for what we want. Keep it simple, right?
My name is Nadine. I'm a freelance wedding photographer and what I want is to photograph weddings around the world.
I want to try different foods, experience different cultures, understand different traditions and norms.
I want to learn more about love, what makes relationships flourish and last. I want to know how to bring out the best in a partner and how to be the best partner. All these things fascinate me. People fascinate me, real emotions and real experiences fascinate me.
I want to wake up each morning, knowing that I'm doing what I love. I want to work with people who appreciate what I do and how hard I work. I want you to value photography, my talent and my time. I want to express myself creatively and live a passionate life.
I want to work better, take more risks, be even more ambitious and ballsy and I want to embrace every opportunity that comes my way. I want a more secure, stable future. I want more choices, more freedom and more adventure.
My dream is to photograph 50 weddings in 50 different countries and then write a book about love and marriage around the world with hundreds of beautiful, uplifting and inspiring photos inside.
At your wedding, I want to feel like I'm photographing everything through your eyes. I want to know what excites you and what turns you off. I want to capture the details you dreamed of, arranged for or created yourself.
I want to get to know you as a couple and as individuals -in order to give you what you really want. I want to make your life easier, your day run smoother and most of all, I want you to be truly present on your wedding day.
I want to meet your friends, family members and colleagues and I want to photograph them as they're dancing, laughing, sharing a moment and having a great time.
I want to be there to document one of the happiest milestones in your life.
I want to meet you, hear your stories, the places you've been, the languages you've learned (if any), the food you've tried, the music you love listening to, the books you like reading as well as knowing about the obstacles you've overcome and the lessons you've learned along the way.
I want to hear about the decisions you've made to become the person you are today.
I want to feel stimulated and inspired by the people I meet and I want to be inspiring and stimulating to those around me.
