Recently, a friend of mine introduced me to a collection of
wedding dresses by the designer Margarita Freire. Margarita is based in
Sevilla, Spain and her collection of bridal wedding dresses are so elegant,
feminine and strong.
Margarita Freire is entirely self-taught. She started in the
design world by chance, 11 years ago.
After studying to become a special needs teacher, Margarita
was always making her own outfits as well as those of her family, friends and
acquaintances. Today she runs a thriving business and designs flamenco, party
and wedding dresses, maintaining the integrity of her brand and a trusted
reputation which has grown over the years to the point where it now stands.
Her passion for design started as a child when she used to
create flamenco dresses for her Barbie dolls from her mother’s scrap pieces of
material.
